Passing Light – Limited Edition – Matt Lauder Gallery
September 9, 2011 7 Comments
10 years of shooting landscapes and early on I decided against releasing limited edition shots as I wanted to price my work so the majority could afford it. But over the last couple of years I have held onto a shot or two to release as Limited Edition. I have no release date for these but thought I would share one with you.
Taken earlier this year at Turimetta Beach on the Northern Beaches of Sydney on sunset.
Shot on the Fuji GX617.

Incrediblle Matt… Nothing else to be said.
Absolutely stunning…such clouds & perfect exposure on the beach/sea….tough shot on film!
way to go Matt – finally pricing your work at supply and demand prices I hope.
Definitely two sides to the fine art market….
Wow! A Taste of Life . Not so bad!!! Matt! Thank yo for sharing always.
Great colour Matt, well captured.
Hello Matt,
I have been reading your blog as part of my developmental stage in landscape photography. Although I have been doing some amateur photography for quite some time, I have bitten the bug and are now trying out some semi-pro landscape work. My original idea was to specialise in doing limited editions only, but when I read your post, it got me thinking about whether this is a wise way to start. In your opinion, will people pay a premium to get really good pictures from an obscure photographer or will this only happen once one becomes established and well known?
Thank you. Tor
Was this taken with the 90mm Schineder Lens???
